Write a Short Story about Sacrifice

I was in Chicago this past August and I bought this little book as a tool to get rid of my Writer's Block. One of the topics they suggested to write about was in regards to Sacrifice.

 Depends on who you ask, there are a lot of varying degrees of sacrifice a person could write about:

1. Sacrificing self in a relationship

2. Sacrificing for the sake of the firm, organization; as I call it, "for the good of the order"

3. Sacrificing for the sake of your children

I will have to decide what approach I will take. Maybe you might want to write a short story on this topic.

I have been making too many excuses about my writing...and I have decided that I won't continue down that path any longer. My novel has been in many notebooks and journals; I now need to compile it and put it out there for a publisher to pick up. Experience this journey with me.
